Tag Rugby team in the top 14 in Essex!

On Thursday 2nd May, Miss Cumming, Mrs. Scrivener and  Miss Griggs  accompanied our Tag Rugby team to the County Finals at Southend Rugby Club. Our team played very well throughout the group stage in the morning, but unfortunately didn’t make it through to the final round in the afternoon. However, they then had the opportunity to play against other teams in the afternoon and improved enormously.

The most pleasing aspect of the day, however, was our team’s sportsmanship and all round behaviour. Everyone supported each other, showed respect for the decisions made and – whether winning or losing – behaved impeccably. The children were excellent ambassadors for our school – as well as being in the top 14 schools for tag rugby in the whole of Essex!
