Tuesday 5th January 7:45am

Good morning, Rowan!

Your Google Meet for this morning is at 8:45am.

You will find the link to this on the stream of the Google Classroom page. Just click on the link to join.
I can’t wait to see you all!

This will last until 9am because those children with brothers and sisters have other Google Meets to join at different times so please log in on time. This morning, I will talk you through the PowerPoint for today which is similar to yesterday. Things will change a little bit in terms of lessons from Wednesday but I will talk you through that on our Google Meet (same time of 8:45am) tomorrow.

I have also added today’s PowerPoint and resources to the Class Pages of the website for today. I hope you enjoy ‘The Beast’ (a short story written by Guy Bass) today – it is attached as a pdf rather than a video today. Again, don’t worry about ‘turning in’ or submitting your work today – it is not necessary and can be done on paper at home if you like. I will talk about handing in work from tomorrow.

‘See’ you all soon!

Mrs. Carter

Monday 4th January 3:30pm

Good afternoon, Rowan!

I hope you all enjoyed Gormy Ruckles and you have had a good day. Thank you to those children who handed in their work on Google Classroom. I have enjoyed reading about your own monsters and especially imagining Aidan’s inhaling its food (great use of the word inhaled)! Don’t worry if you didn’t submit your work today as it wasn’t essential and you can always bring it in when we return to school.

Tomorrow morning there will be a Google Meet (just like the register at school!). The link to join the Google Meet will be on the stream, ready for you to click on. This will last around 15 minutes then there will be the daily PPT ready for you to work through for the day.

Check the Google Classroom stream at 8:30am to see what time the Google Meet will be.

I look forward to ‘seeing’ you!
Mrs. Carter

Monday 4th January 8:30am.

Happy New Year, Rowan! I hope you had a great Christmas break.

For today, I have put on our class page and our Google Classroom the PowerPoint for you to work through. It is introducing you to Guy Bass – the author of our text for this half term. You can complete the work in any order you like but make sure you watch the YouTube video first as Guys Bass himself is reading you some of one of his books! There is also some maths (with the answers on a separate PowerPoint), SPaG, English and art to complete. All of the work can be done on paper (or in a book you might have at home) which you can then bring in to school to share with us very soon.

Keep an eye on the website, our class page and the Google Classroom for details about tomorrow.

Have a great monster-filled day!
