Curriculum Information Autumn Term 2014
PE
In PE we have been exploring dance. We have been toys from a toy shop that get brought to life with the help of magical fairy dust. We have created a sequence of movements that include using different levels, speeds; created facial expressions have practised our balancing skills. We have also split in half and performed our dance.
Maths
In Maths we have been exploring different ways to help us learn our number bonds to ten. We used numicon, our fingers, matching games, songs and made towers of 10 cubes that we broke in two.
Phonics
These are some activities we have been completing in Phonics to help us with our reading and spelling.
Science
In Science we carried out an investigation to help Rapunzel see the Prince. We were testing materials to find out which was the strongest to make ‘hair’ and carry the Prince to Rapunzel’s tower.
