Welcome Vector Art, Icons, and Graphics for Free Download

Thank you to everybody for returning your acceptance slips; we have already started speaking to preschool settings.

    Dates for your diary:

The first date you need to know is for the parents' meeting on Tuesday 19th May at 6 p.m. - please note that this initial event is aimed at parents and carers only; unfortunately, we cannot accommodate children for this meeting.  The presentation will be added to this page for you, should you be unable to attend or want to check anything that is said.

Following this, there are further opportunities to support transition.  Should you be unable to attend some/any of the transition dates, please don't panic; the information we give will be available to everyone!

There will be some after school 'Stay and Play' sessions, where you and your child can explore the EYFS environment and meet some of the team.  These are very informal sessions where you can come to as few or as many as you like and stay as long as you want within the session time.  These Stay and Play sessions will be on:

    Monday 1st June 3.30 - 4 p.m.

    Monday 8th June 3.30 - 4 p.m.

    Monday 22nd June 3.30 - 4 p.m.

There will be a half day Settling In Session available for your child to attend, too - where they can come and have fun on their own, trying out being a part of Myland!  You will be able to indicate preference for either session over the next few weeks:

Thursday 25th June - Settling In Session

    Session A 9.30 a.m. - 11.30 a.m. (BRING A NAMED WATER BOTTLE AND A FRUIT OR VEGETABLE SNACK)

    Session B 12.30 p.m. - 2.30 p.m. (BRING A NAMED WATER BOTTLE AND A FRUIT OR VEGETABLE SNACK)

The children will be able to visit the school for a longer visit on Monday 6th July.  This will be from 9.30 a.m. - 2.30 p.m. and they are welcome to bring a packed lunch (no nuts or nut products, please), alongside their named water bottle and fruit or vegetable snack.  You may also want your child to bring a change of clothes if they are not yet confident with the toilet, although our toilets are inside the classrooms, which is handy!

Monday 13th/Tuesday 14th July will be a chance for you to book a 1-1 appointment with one of the team.  The 'All About Me' meetings will be a chance to discuss your child and their likes/dislikes in depth before school begins, so we do encourage you to sign up for one if you can.  Slots for 'All About Me' meetings will be available to book during our transition events and you are welcome to bring your child with you, if you wish.

If there are any questions in the meantime, please do let us know!

We look forward to meeting you all very soon.

    The EYFS Team
