    Welcome to Birch Class

    Classteachers: Mrs. H. Love/Mrs. L. Dhanak

    2025-26

    Week Beginning 4.5.26

This week, we have managed to fit SO much learning and fun into the shorter four days...we have been exploring materials, their qualities and purposes through the appearance of a mysterious (and futuristic!) nest.  This nest is unlike any we have come across in our class texts over the past few weeks.  The children have been debating where it might have come from, using wonderful full sentences and conversation starters, such as 'Do you agree?'.  They are becoming such confident speakers who are more reactive to and aware of what another person says - amazing, Birch!

We are continuing to focus on number bonds to 10.  If there are any bonds your child particularly needs to rehearse, these have been written in their blue books.  There is also a game to support the knowledge of bonds, which can be found here:

    Enjoy!
