Welcome to Birch Class

Classteachers: Mrs. H. Love/Mrs. L. Dhanak

2025-26

Week beginning 13.10.2025

Thank you to everybody who has been able to send in some 'junk' ready for our junk modelling challenges this week and next!  We can't wait to show you what we create next week, during Parent Teacher Meetings.  The children have been excitedly telling us about using their new vocabulary at home, so we hope you have been as bowled over as we have by their enthusiasm for interesting words...like 'ascend' and 'monstrous'!

Currently, the children are working on full participation in class discussions and overcoming some challenges with respect and listening in a larger group, which at times include talking back to the adults supporting them. This limits their opportunity to ask questions and engage more deeply, so we are focused on helping them develop positive communication skills so they can enjoy richer, more respectful conversations in class. We appreciate your support as we work together to create a warm and encouraging environment where every child feels heard and motivated to learn.
